Rachel is a passionate therapist who loves what she does.She obtained a Diploma in Remedial Massage, and she has also been attuned to a level 2 Reiki Practitioner.In a Remedial Treatment she starts off by warming the tissues with firm Swedish strokes. Then she goes deeper into the muscles to help relieve tension and release knots that have bound stress within the body and restricts movement.She employs the techniques of Deep Compressions, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Muscle Energy Techniques to help overcome back and neck pain, headaches, sore legs and the pain associated with new and old injuries.In Reiki she opens herself to let the healing energy flow through her and into the client in specific areas to assist with any imbalances. Reiki helps with depression, anxiety and insomnia.Rachel can give you a strong, effective, physical massage or a warm and nurturing relaxation massage using healing essential oils and calming reiki.She is accredited with AMT Massage Association, is fully insured and registered with most health funds.
